That was dumb. Emulation was already a known "feature" and to advertise it with a blatantly high profile IP is stupid. Nintendo will sue them if they in any way support Nintendo emulators.

Google had to remove a bunch of them from Play store a year or so ago and technically Google has the cash to fight it if they had wanted. However, they simply removed the offenders. (i think the offenders are the ones that showcase the roms from within the apps)

Ouya could easily make this a viable platform by simply advertising the many indie games, onLive support, etc. However, they are likely hoping this type of tweet will creat enough buzz and Nintendo won't care since it was removed very quickly.

Come on, this is hardly illegal. Emulators are completely legal as long as they don't use stolen or derived source code or bits of the original copyrighted code. ROMs are legal too... as long as you are creating your own image, or in the case of much older ROMs as long as you own the original cartridge.

You cant play with the Dualshock 3 if you want to ;)

I wonder if it is powerful enough for emulators more advanced than NES.

If the PSVita isn't hacked by the time the Ouya2 releases (if it releases) I might buy it to play PSP games via PPSSPP in 1080p on my TV...although I can already do that with my PC.
