How about putting a video of humane killing on here?

Might seem stupid to you, but since you seems to be against eating meat (my impression of previous comments, please correct me if I am wrong), I want to ask you something. Of course, there is limited, if no proof at all out there, but I think that sometime in the future, we might do some big, new discoveries in this field:
Do you think plants/vegetables enjoy being eaten?
How do you know plants/vegetables do not feel pain?
Many plants have defense mechanisms which have been developed through millions of years. If plants were not bothered by being eaten or killed, why would they do such a thing? Why have so many plants developed toxins, thorns, spikes, communication systems, etc if they had no actual will to survive?
There are plants that react to physical contact, like the Mimosa Pudica or the Dionaea Muscipula (Venus Flytrap), which also happens to be a carnivorous plant.
Many plants react to damage and/or attacks by beginning a chemical reaction to repair/protect itself as well as warning other surrounding plants that there is a potential danger looming.
I certainly do not justify how many animals are treated, and I find it truly disgusting, even though I eat meat almost every day. However, what annoys me is that 'veggies' are sitting on their high horse claiming to be so much better, when in fact, they might be just as bad. Just because we haven't found any proof, or cannot seem to grasp the idea of plants feel pain in a different way than we do (through the central nerve system), doesn't mean plants don't feel pain. Plants might have a totally different system, which we have no knowledge of. So unless one or the other is fully proven, please feel free to get off your high horse mister.

Thanks for the post. (except that last bit)
Firstly, it's not just 'veggies' that sit on their high horse. It's almost every human being who is part of some exclusive club. So in just the same way you shouldn't think someone is a 'white-superiority' believer just because he's white, one shouldn't think the same of someone who is following a meat-free diet.
The argument you are making has been done to death and it is completely without any reason. If you would like me to elucidate the differences between plants and animals then I'm sorry I don't have the time because it is a very, very long list. In fact, using the same argument one might as well proclaim the right to feed off 'lower' races of human beings.
One can make so many arguments.
But the fact is that any person who's lived with animals and grown up with a non-violent diet doesn't need to be told why eating animals is rather cruel.
Just say it tastes good and that's why you eat it, because arguing for something that has negative effects on your body, the economy, the planet's ecology and a myriad of things that I've discussed to death at university lectures is just plain ignorant. My best friend loves meat and I don't give a crap and we never argue. He knows for a fact that it would be better not to, but he likes doing it so he does.
I'm not on a high horse with regards to this subject.
