90% of what you listed is not PS+ required.

Also console features.  I apologize if the title is confusing.  I tried to emphasize console features.  Ill put it in caps.

So? If someone is paying for PS+ he/she wil still get these features.
I think you are confusing this thread with another Xbox Live bashing thread.

This thread is about listing everything you get with both Xbox Live / PSN+.
And to be honnest PSN+ is starting to look very sexy now; I'm glad for future PS4 owner.

Great thread, just needs a little tweaking here and there :)

-DVR on Xbox One is just with game content not TV.
-Xbox One includes a HDMI in and HDMI out that makes it so you can connect not just you DVR, but your Xbox 360 and I image other consoles as well.
-Friends list on X1 will go from 100 on 360 to unlimited on Xbox One with a search engine to make going through your friends list easy.

Thanks :)

Fixed.  I must've misunderstood the DVR function.

added.

And I believe PSN allows that as well although that is still awesome we aren't being contained to only 100 now haha

Alright good updates on the OP. I think you should add the light bar feature of the DS4 controller in there as well. In the initial reveal event Sony did mention that the distance and movement of the controller could be tracked by the console using the light bars on the controller. I can see this being a nice side feature like the six axis was on the DS3.

Also I would change the thread title to Xbox One VS PS4 features rather than Live VS PS+ because a lot of the features you mentioned are console/controller features as opposed to Live and PS+ features.

300,000 servers and cloud computing are different things.  Cloud computing uses those servers but is a feature of it's own.  Every single feature is going to be running through servers.  Just like sony will have servers (Number is unknown) for PSN.  Servers are required for online.

There is still no truth in  "Every game on Xbox Live will have a dedicated server.  No host advantage, no lag, no rubber banding." Those 300,000 servers are for the cloud, match making, login servers and game authentication. You seem to have made some crap up about all games having dedicated servers.

It was reported by Wired after an exclusive look at the Xbox One.  You are more than welcome to look things up.

The 300k servers is the cloud.

Again that is an assumption on wireds part, an example of what they could do with these servers, just aint going to happen. If it was MS would be screaming it from the roof tops as it would be something massive to shout about. Instead they talk about the theoretical power of cloud computing and having 5 billion transistors instead of just giving us an actual spec. Ill take a bet right now that all games on Xbox one will not run on dedicated servers.

PSN does allow more than 100 friends.

Who the fuk has 100 friends anyway? Seems messy.

Yes and this is something that come "defacto" with the console. So it is an exclusive advantage.
Any game on Playstation 4 can also use the cloud and/or dedicated server but Sony is not providing it (yet at least); so it is a plus for MS.

When I use to be on all the time I'd get friend requests non-stop so I have had to delete a lot of people over the last 8 years although I really only play with about 10-20 different people
