Think Microsoft should just sack its entire PR dept tho. Up until the U turn I honestly dont believe they could have handled things worse
If MS had explained this better from the word go, I'm sure the reception would have been better, but instead they just gave the bad news but then didn't bother with anything else.
Pretty hilarious. I'm glad Nintendo does their own thing and I feel bad for MS.
They probably had good intentions with it all to make it a better process but in the end it'll all sort itself out.
Back in the day it was token ring versus ethernet, and the people decided. Sometimes the prettiest solutions aren't the best.
you know how hard his job would be if he didnt even like the drm thing. we will never know. but it sucked to be in his shoes the last week or so, im sure.

i agree, their whole conveying their message was a PR desaster of epic proportions.
this could have been so much better handled and coordinated, but actually it seemed like most of them didn't know what they were actually talking about.
