My god. Internet protest actually did something.

I'm afraid now...

Of course it did. Where were you the last 3 weeks. Microsoft had so much negative buzz that grand parents who don't play video games even knew about it!

2 things.

1- Microsoft is back in the game.
2- I still lost a lot of respect for people who defended the DRM

I didn't like the drm especially but thought the sharing-feature would be awesome. The problem was that it was quite complicated to some so they didn't understand it. Anyways, the 360-way is a good way. I am fine with it and like it how it is, even with live-paywall, that is.

I have seen many outcries about stuff on the internet amount to nothing.

Thanks a lot internet users for fucking us out of digital game sharing with our friends all over the world. I'm not happy.

This is bullshit

Thank you internet for preserving our ownership rights and ability to trade, sell, etc... with property that belongs to me after laying out the money for it.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

So this is why it was dropped from GameStop! So now the whole E3 thing with the PS4 is nonsense, as it doesn't matter?

Of couse it is matter... if Sony didn't do that at E3 you think we will see these changes today?

Sony jab at E3 was the begin of all... people started to preorder PS4 instead Xbone... even the press pro MS started to say it was a bad move from MS.

Consumers needs to be respected... and now MS undertood that (with low preorder numbers).

Xbox One PR and image with gamers during this fiasco

Do you think the new policies are a fiasco?

I don't think they are a fiasco but deatils are still missing...

1. What happens with family plan and sharing?

2. How will they combat piracy? I install 30 disk based games on an Xbox One and take it offline forever and play single player. Then I give the disks to a friend who does the same...etc

Wow, never thought this would happen. Now i will certainly buy both systems, though i might wait a bit with the xbone

Keep dreaming they will not change their policies. The infrastructure can not be changed that easily. Watch the angry joe interview with major nelson. He grabs the mic from joe when asked about changing the system's on DRM, connecting every 24 hours and used games policy. He says no it is not that easy to do and these are the policies moving forward. The used games policy is especially squashed seeing how the Disc you buy at the store is just used once like a pc disc. It's worthless after you load the disc into xbox one. Worthless!

If that's true, then it's awesome news. The exclusives shown on the MS E3 conference had me interested in the console, but I wouldn't ever buy it if it came with this DRM. This news, however, completely changes my position towards buying the new Xbox(if true).

What do you mean if true? It's been confirmed!

I was buying it anyway, I wonder if every time you go on the internet it checks your copy.
