This is so fake lol...

Yeah, it's not like they didn't expect these reactions, they got them all at their reveal event, there is no way that they are going to reverse this

It just doesn't align with Microsofts overall strategy to reverse this...like at all. Apple and Android will rape them sideways few years from now if they don't go all digital.

absolutely not.   the option for digital will still be there for those that want to go there.  all this does is give consumers the choice.  digital or physical.  the consumer can take their pick.  in 10 years i imagine a vast majority will choose digital but right here, today.. it's still physical.  just look at the various financial statements over the industry.  digital is less than 30% of the market including dlc for retail sold games.

VICTORY!!!   ..if true.

I've commented on posts like this so many times...sigh.

It is all digital with Xbox one. Retail stores are allowed sell digital properties. I can go to Best Buy and buy a Lady Gaga album on a itunes card. I can buy Left 4 Dead for PC which activates on Steam. Disk is just a distribution device for the digital copy of the game.

You're wrong. Xbox One games work just like PS4 games do. The only difference is that the Xbox One forcully turns that into a digital copy. IMO, they should make this an option for gamers not make it mandatory.

Microsoft set to announce details of DRM policy changes for Xbox One...

The site is down yet.

Sure - ten thousands of people for an ordinary webserver is too much. Perhaps MS should put the online-presence into the cloud :D

Can you all stop looking at that site so 1 of us can access it... geez.. >_>

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

  • An Internet connection is only required when initially setting up the console

Not all cleared up, this will still be a problem to people who buy the console in remote areas. I know people around my cottage area who only have ethernet cable internet, only in one room of the house, so it would be damn annoying to buy the console there, set it up in one room, and then move everything back to the proper room. But it's only once, so that's a lot better.

I'm not sure if this article is true, I know MS really wants to copy steam, and I've read conflicting stories about pre-order numbers..

Whatever happens, MS will still sell a lot of One units.

What is with all the hate? Don't read GamrReview Articles. Contact me to ADD games to the Database
Vote for the March Most Wanted / February Results

Cant wait to see the changes and hopefully they throw in a year of live for free in that 499 bundle to stay somewhat competitive in the price too.
