US amazon.com currently has PS4 (sold out) #3 and X180 #6

and the only other next gen items are ps4 controller and another PS4 SKU @ 92 & 96

no other consoles / games / accessories currently in top 100 on US amazon.com site

amazon uk
ps4 # 4
x180 #48
x180 (second sku) #69
no games/accessories

This speaks VOLUMES about the resale market for PS4/XBONE. I remember shortly after E3 people on slickdeals(a electronics deal website, with many "flippers" people who buy cheap and sell/trade in for more money) saying that they were buying 10-20 PS4's. Im sure XBONE has its flipers as well. I smell returns!

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Seems like amazon ran out of PS4 Launch Day consoles.... All the bundles are in " sign up to be notified when item becomes available"

Likewise the launch day Xbox console....

2013 Rankings:

UK: PS4 #3 (+1) / Xbone #47 (+9)
US: PS4 #3 (0) / Xbone #6 (0)

I think it is safe to say now that the Xbone 180 no-DRM action won't make it catch the PS4 in preorders sales... the damage was already done.

Xbox One sold out on Amazon huh. Not to bad.

it took xbone over 3 weeks to up to #6 which the PS4 did in a few days and is at #3 year to date

on top of that thE non launch version and the watchdogs and battlefield bundles also joined the top 100 year to day. THis all points to at least a 3 to 2 or even 2 to 1 ratio here in the US.

to an extent you are right.  there will be flippers.  ..but my pre-order is for myself (not flipping) and i didn't buy any games either.  digital downloads baby!!  most people will still be physical but a decent sized chunck will not and the crowd that goes digital is probably closely aligned with the crowd the pre-orders consoles months in advance.

What i find interesting is after 3 weeks, the PS4 is still #3 and the Xbone is #6 in the 2013 yearly sales.

The items that are #4 and #7 have been in the daily top 15 for a while and have not been able to overtake these consoles which begs the question, "what is the quantity gap between the items in the top 10"

The Watch dog bundle started to move up again after dropping about 10 spots.

The BF4 bundle fell out of the charts but might get back into the top 100 after becoming available again.

The Standard(non-launch) PS4 console is about to crack the top 40.

So I felt like taking a look how things were going for the upcoming consoles and remembered this thread. Bumpy.

Preorders rankings (between PS4 and XBONE) seems settled for now, I don't think there will be any suprises on this side before launch (maybe on month before and boost on gamescom and TGS)
