Here's a shocker for you.

"Casuals" are gamers!

Want me to rephrase it? Nintendo decided to put its core fans and the bottom of the priority list. And that's a fact. No other fanbase would put up with the droughts that the Wii suffered.

I'm still buying Nintendo published games on Wii and there are at least 4-5 more that I need to pick up... I already have near 30 Nintendo published games on the Wii. Let me know a person that has 30+ Microsoft/Sony published games on 360/PS3 because I doubt that any of their fanbase buys that many 1st party games. They didn't abandon their fanbase. You just want it to be that reality cause it suits your "argument".

Yoshida is one of my favorite people in the industry. The tone he sets for World Wide Studios is fantastic for gamers. I credit him with a lot of the attitude change at Sony.

He also made Legend of Dragoon, now fans are going to love him more.

Sony and Nintendo coming too close?

AstroMaSSi rules

It's good to see mutual respect, as with Miyamoto with his Vita. It can only be a good thing and breed good ideas.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I was going to respond to the troll, but this ^ is exactly what I was going to say

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Nintendo's output for its core fans was leagues ahead of what they made for gamecube. Try again.

This says a lot about the GC.

A good thread, shat on by someone who never has anything good to say about anything non-Sony.

Why are you such a shitty poster?

It's well documented that fans are usually the moral cesspool of anything. It doesn't matter if creators are actually friends or on good terms, the fans will be the ones that will besmirch the good name of anything they enjoy. It's a bit ironic.

Yoshida's awesomeness is well documented. He owns two Wii Us.

What? That means he's more of a Nintendo Fan than me. This must stop!

Also, what's with everyone thinking Miyamoto played/owns a Vita? Someone was showing it to him, he wasn't playing it. (In that picture, at least.)
