Here's a shocker for you.

"Casuals" are gamers!

Want me to rephrase it? Nintendo decided to put its core fans and the bottom of the priority list. And that's a fact. No other fanbase would put up with the droughts that the Wii suffered.

I'm still buying Nintendo published games on Wii and there are at least 4-5 more that I need to pick up... I already have near 30 Nintendo published games on the Wii. Let me know a person that has 30+ Microsoft/Sony published games on 360/PS3 because I doubt that any of their fanbase buys that many 1st party games. They didn't abandon their fanbase. You just want it to be that reality cause it suits your "argument".

I was going to respond to the troll, but this ^ is exactly what I was going to say

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.
