Cross generation title in 2014?

A game coming in 4 plataforms in very similar versions, except for the graphics, that is a very interesting situation for a MGS title. May sell more than 8million copies overall.

For how long third party titles are going to be released on 4 consoles? I am gutted Wii U isn't even considered.

If you only own the Wii U, you're probably going to feel like the red headed step child for a while. Most devs don't like it for some reason apparently.

What about Ground Zeroes?

I think they both going to be the same game now. Or at least that's what it looks like.

they're the same game, Ground Zeroes is the first chapter.

Ground Zeroes = an Island , probably Zanzibar

The Phantom Pain = The hospital area

????? = Afghanistan

????? = Outer Heaven

It is the same game, according to Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_Gear_Solid_V:_The_Phantom_Pain

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

And no Wii U version?

...Konami, I am disappoint.

I don't own a Wii U, not until Nintendo sorts their shit out.

I like the X1 better, but it's a total insult too play Metal Gear and Final Fantasy on xbox, period. When does anyone think this game will come out? Not to familiar with its history of release time frame.

The original (1987) Metal Gear was released on the MSX (a Microsoft platform) and was then ported to the NES.  So, the series started out on MS hardware.  Where is the insult?

Umm yeah I wasn't even born during those games. Titiles like FF and MGS have always been played on Playstation since the PS1, all the fans and sales come from that platform, so it's only natural people would want to play it on that.

I wonder how the 360/PS3 version will look like!

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain's E3 presentation was "more tuned to current generation," Kojima said, in terms of the game's models and textures.

Which actually shows, if you look, for example, at self-shadowing on characters, it looks very current gen.
