I played the demo, as the redhead (with an awesome carbonizing gun), and it was fucking awesome, from gameplay to creativity, to graphics. Does anybody have the full version here? |
I do. It's not bad, but it might be boring. Basically, take the demo, and add some hours to it, and you have the campaign. There just really isn't anything else to it. The story is an excuse to shoot things. Enemies are bullet sponges. There's some casual banter which is amusing, and we see very brief moments into the characters' pasts. But it's mostly just shooting. (And yes, Izzy is the best <3). Eschelon is entertaining as well, but it's brutal if you're not prepared.
The main problems with Fuse unfortunately come down to this; it isn't Overstrike and it's full of great things that aren't used well, implemented well, or contrast with other stuff. (And stupid stuff... like when the characters put explosives on walls to get past them, and literally stand right next to it and duck while it explodes. Watch the first few seconds of this).
If you want the full game, I'd recommend waiting for a price drop. The only problem is that the title is likely to die off very fast, so it'll probably be really hard soon to find people to play with online.

Resistance had Vinyl guns and a shot gun that could run off soda as nuclear ammo? |
It had a saw gun that worked exactly the same way, and yes they had a shotgun with fire ammo that did that same stuff. It is Resistance 2 co-op reskinned...

Sounds good to me!
And I couldn't care less of online =P As long as single player is fun, I'd get it. I wait for a price drop for most things, so this one also.

Thank you! I'm glad I'm not the only that actually played Insomniacs other works. This used to be my favorite developer, with all the R&C titles ufrom 1 to A Crack in Time, being some of the best games I've ever played. At this point, I could care less if they went 100% exclusive with M$ and shared the same fate as Rare. They're a god awful dev now, and Fuse simply proved that.

I was going to reply to that guy too. All of their guns shown off in their trailer either come from resistance or rachet and clank. The game looks all to fimilar with a cartoon skin.

Well i didn't play resistance obvious by me asking the questions i did, but just because their similarities doesn't mean the game will suck or be ttally unoriginal. And it darn sure doesn't mean the dev should go off into obscurity like some feel rare have. I watched some resistance trailers and they don't give off the same vibe as this, ratchet and clank sorta does, but i see them doing some cool stuff wiith this and the cloud system in terms of changing the world all the time based on players.
