Forums - Microsoft - (WTF Is this crap?) So I am not going to be buying the Xbox One, not because I don't want to , but because Microsoft doesn't want me to buy it

I think MS hates money.

The "One" stands for "first world countries".

Stop complaining. Don Mattrick has already told you there's an awesome product for second class humans: Xbox360.

You already have a Xbox360? Clearly the idea is that you get a second one after Xbone launches, to make you feel better.

Maybe if enough people buy it in a unsupported country anyway, even though it doesnt work there, MS might consider activating the console after a few years. If it gets a steady revenue stream from an unsupported country despite people not being able to use it, the consumer can prove their loyalty to MS.

"the consumer can prove their loyalty to MS".....this is how you know the industry is going to hell in a hand basket.

I found even a better way to prove loyalty to MS, just give them unrestricted access to your bank account and demand nothing from them. Thats the kind of dedication that would draw MS attention.

So what you're saying is... People should rush out, spend $600 on something that they may never be able to use? Do you know how insane that idea is?

As for loyalty, the consumer doesn't need to show loyalty, it should be the other way around, Microsoft should be showing loyalty to consumers, we owe these companies nothing remember.
Besides, in such area's there is no need to hope Microsoft will support a country, there are working alternatives like the PC, PS4 and Wii U that will work on day 1.
