I didn't say IMAX 3D. I said IMAX (as in monochromatic IMAX cameras, like the Batman Trilogy).

So 0% but they have an IMAX screening worldwide where available.

I don't know why that was so hard to say in the first place.

So chances are that 0% of this movie was filmed in IMAX but they are stretching the lower resoltuion (let's say 4K HD probably) for an IMAX size screen at every theater that has one.

Yes. I think my links indicated that the movie was post-converted to 3D and into IMAX format. As in, both conversions were made. The movie was shot using traditional film.

Rotten Tomatoes can't always be relied on, but I'm going to pay attention to the consensus on this.

OTOH I have low expectations, so I'm likely to be pleasantly surprised and think the movie is pretty good once I get around to seeing it. If my sons want to go see it I might end up going too, but they like 3D, so if they want to go to a 3D screeing I probably won't go.

I liked a few movies in 3D. But over time, I've come to feel the 3D effect and the glasses act as a distraction over the actual movie, rather than feel like an actual integral part of it.

I just don't see the need for it. It doesn't make me enjoy the movies more than when I watch them in 2D.

And the picture looks better in 2D anyway. To me, at least.

Look at the RT scores for 300 and Watchmen...and they are still far better than any Marvel movie. Even the Avengers. And the metacrtitic user score is higher than any Marvel movie
