Rotten Tomatoes can't always be relied on, but I'm going to pay attention to the consensus on this.

OTOH I have low expectations, so I'm likely to be pleasantly surprised and think the movie is pretty good once I get around to seeing it. If my sons want to go see it I might end up going too, but they like 3D, so if they want to go to a 3D screeing I probably won't go.

I liked a few movies in 3D. But over time, I've come to feel the 3D effect and the glasses act as a distraction over the actual movie, rather than feel like an actual integral part of it.

I just don't see the need for it. It doesn't make me enjoy the movies more than when I watch them in 2D.

And the picture looks better in 2D anyway. To me, at least.
