I don't like it.

I think this requires further questioning...why?

I think it looks pretty good personally. Seems others feel the same.

Don't strangle me now but visually it reminds me of a cheap iOS game. I guess it's the top down perspective, but it looks bland and monotonous.

Also I'm a bit critical against all 3DS games because I bought my unit right before the 3DS XL was announced.

Hold it! That style is one which fans want! People have been begging for this game, and now it's here you're complaining its here? It was never going to be a visual masterpiece because, as you say, it's the style of the game.

Or would you rather another DS style Zelda?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

What was NSMB2 again? Is it the one i have on the 3DS with lots of golden coins?

I can't keep track of all the Marios, but they're all very hard.

Yes, it's the 3DS game.

So why don't you like this Zelda?

Look a post above.

But not only visually, but also gameplay wise it looks repetitive.

Is it supposed to play like that? What am I missing?

Explain this game to me.

Oh. I thought fans loved DS style Zelda.

When I was criticizing the train Zelda on DS, I was viciously attacked by Khuutra.

Anyway, let's forget visuals for a minute. What are the strengths gameplay wise?

Bad Nintendo, bad! Making me want to buy a 3DS when I said I'd never buy a handheld.

Huh. I just realized that soldiers are back as enemies -- meaning that, as in ALttP, Link will be killing actual humans in this game. Probably brainwashed humans, but humans nonetheless.

It was all okay in ALttP because he used the Triforce at the end to bring everyone back to life, so if we don't see the same ending for this game, Link is kind of a mass-murderer.

Or...Nintendo will just handwave them away as being turned into phantoms during their brainwash, as shown by them vanishing into thin air immediately after being killed

I think this game looks and sounds brilliant. Looks such a vast improvement over the DS Zelda games, Im quite surprised that its been relatively ignored on VGChartz.

Also, dat overworld theme.

First, thank you for posting, looking great.

Second, certainly not ignored by me, it is my most anticipated game of the year (and there is a new Tales and a new Pokemon coming out so that says something!)

Link to the Past is one of my all time favorites and this game looks amazing.  Can not wait to play.

Objection!

...

Alright, enough of that.

Personally I like the idea of just more Zelda. The 2D paper concept seems interesting, and if used correctly it could be an innovative new control scheme. In addition, the dungeon traversal and concept of stamina for all items and moves is an interesting one which could alter gameplay dramatically.

But as I said,it's more LttP. And that's what everyone wanted, and that's good.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I'm getting a 3DS for this and Ocarina - every other game is simply a bonus!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
