Forums - Nintendo - Zelda Wind Waker Wii U/Gamecube comparison Vid

Looks fantastic. Can't wait to own it.

The art direction is as beautiful as always :)

I don't know if there's enough reason for me to replay the game with so many others on my waiting list, but it looks great -- I really love the Miiverse integration.

I think it's perfect for newcomers to the series who never played the GCN original.

It's been confirmed that no new additional content (such as the missing dungeons) is going to be added. They wanted to stay as true to the original as possible.

I'm sad.

Very faithful HD remake. Maybe to a fault, but I know that there are Zelda fans who will pay good money for better lighting and textures.

Ignoring the gameplay improvements like faster sailing (made possible through the larger draw distance).

Does it have offscreen play? Deal breaker for me.

That's not true. They're adding a new faster sail that you unlock later in the game.

I'm aware, I played the game at e3 yesterday. The new elements I've seen are the sail and the bottles that wash up on shore (replacing the tingle tuner). What I meant with my post is that no significant content additions/changes will be made.

I have always maintained that the wind waker is one of the best looking games ever, with a fantastic art style which will never age. To see it remade in HD is a dream come true, and its a day one purchase for me.
