"Will you buy X360- the offline device"should have been there among the options.

I think these polls weren't ment for trolling, which is why I voted in all 3 of them.

Waited, listened, analyzed and decided. Ps4 day one for me. First time I will stick with the same manufacturer two gens in a row... Just pre-ordered 4 games and Ps4 for $550(with tax)... same price for the X1 and a game(with tax).

No, never mind all the drm etc stuff thats already inconvinent, it's the price of $500 thats turns me off the most. The ps4 is $100 cheaper here in the states.

Yes but a few years after it is released. Despite the restrictive policies I will try my best to get one as soon as I can afford one maybe 2-3 years after launch. At launch or in the first year, I will get a PS4 because that is the console that appeals to me the most.
I do not think the Xbox 1 is a bad console and hope it does not fail because I want my favorite franchise - Halo to continue selling well next generation. Also I don't want this generation dominated by the PS4 because I prefer more competition.
By the end of the generation I'm really hoping I can own all 3 consoles.

not a chance. Microsoft, you have fucked up big time.

Probably sometime down the road, when the price is 299 or something around that.

Despite some good looking exclusives and a decent e3 conference, that price point and with all the DRM and used game crap I definitely won't be purchasing one.

I will be getting one on launch. The system has the games and features I most look for in a console. Besides the online requirement, it's like they're making it for me.

The best thing to do would be not to give in and allow Microsoft to use the Xbox One as an excuse to impose more restrictions. And not just Microsoft, if people buy the Xbox One and validate Microsofts anti consumer policies then it means that other companies in the console market will migrate over to a similar system, and other industries will migrate over to a similar system. How long until our DVD players require an internet connection and block/control used movies. How long till my Kindle won't work unless i verify i'm not a criminal every day via the internet.

Microsoft are taking away our rights as consumers and as gamers we should stand up to this and say NO. Doesn't matter if you're the biggest Xbox fan, Nintendo fan or Sony fan (Or Ouya fan :P ) We all need to agree not to purchase the Xbox One to send a message to Microsoft that we will not support this.

Consumers are powerful and can change things. By doing this Microsoft may reconsider their stratagy and do away with their software based restrictions. It's a long shot but it could work. And only then should the Xbox One be considered as a gaming console to buy.

I know people will say they are going to buy it because it doesn't affect them. But it does, it gives other industries the rights to impose similar restrictions, it means that if you're internet goes down or if Xbox Live goes down you can't play games, it means that if you want to sell a game for money then you'll get a limited amount of credit through a selected retailer. The Xbox One affects everyone.

The good thing about the PS4 or the Wii U is that it's giving consumers a choice. Consumers should not be dictated on what to buy and how to buy it like Microsoft is doing. We should not be forced into the digital age when it's proven that the world is not ready yet.

I know this is a long read but i appreciate anyone who took the time out to read it. I just need to say this as i don't want to see my hobby die in the next generation.

No doubt some fanboy will try and justify everything. But from a consumer point of view this cannot be justified. At all.

The decision has never been easier in all my years of choosing a product as a consumer, and I always gave good consideration to Microsoft consoles. No.
