Extremely dissapionted. The feed was laggy and I actually thought Mario U was for 3DS. It's a dreadful follow up to Galaxy. This could seriously sink Wii U for good.

I can't believe they would put such a half-assed effort into the 3D Mario given the current state the console is in. Truly disappointing Nintendo, truly disappointing.

I know! I can't even watch the whole trailer on Youtube; I get so full of rage. It was clear that the MK team put much more work into their title, and... When was the last time that a Mario Kart game had better graphics and looked more imaginative than a flagship Mario title!? Never, that's when!

It is disappointing, but let's give it a chance, yeah? It could be just as good as the Galaxy games, maybe better!
Unlikely though...
This game lacks ambition. Nintendo is playing it safe and they should be criticised for that.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but this looks better to you? Truly?

Due to the video stream's low res and lag, I honestly -honestly- was thinking this was a new 3DS Mario, until about halfway through the trailer.

Here are some screens from everything that happened http://www.dustycartridges.com/nintendo-direct-e3/ I think X will be amazing!!!! Mario kart looks fun too. I wouldn't count Mario 3d land out!!
Also Mario sunshine and galaxy both had very strong gameplay shifting concepts behind them (water gun and gravit/small planets).
This mario game really doesn't feel like a true successor. More like something they are going to throw out whilst a seperate team tries hard to come up with something amazing. When I switched the stream on they were showing the game and I honestly thought it was an activity from the new mario party.
