I think Sakurai said that both For Fun and For Glory would allow you to pick what kind of battle you're doing. They of all people should know better than to restrict matches to a single standard. Especially when tournaments usually do stock battles.

For 1 vs 1 fights, Time Battle is not that bad since if you're better than your opponent you should be ahead in score when the timer runs out (although if you have a bad start, it's harder to have a comeback in a Time Battle). Where things get frustrating in Time Battles is 4 player Free-for-alls, since characters with lower kill power (let's say Peach ) get screwed over by stronger characters stealing their kills.

Thankz after making this thread i seen alot of other people making vids on small details as well! Ex: Bowser Up Special is MUCH better in Vertical Range than before :)

edit: Should I do a detailed analysis of SMASH RUN, since it literally going to be a huge mode like City Trial (Kirby Air Ride)?

I'm still hopeing they'll allow for rooms/communitys where you can set your own rules n settings and anyone can join in. The For Fun/For Glory modes are nice but not ever being able to change the setting sucks a ton! D:

Looking back, I like how Sakurai specifically mentioned Sonic when he noted that a few characters got buffs in their offense. I was so pumped to play as Sonic, and at the beginning it was a blast... until I realized that netting a kill without his Final Smash was incredibly difficult. You pretty much had his upAir and his downSmash... and even those didn't have the knockback to kill anyone below 100%. Hopefully this time he'll have an easier time netting some kills, because I'd love to play as him! @_@

One character that hasn't been confirmed and not mentioned all that often by players is Meta Knight. I'm not sure what Sakurai will want to do with him, my guess is that he'll return with a modified moveset so he doesn't dominate the other characters like he did in Brawl.

I seen people mention hm, but nowhere near as much as some others. As of now i see it like this *in terms of fans raging online lol

Tier1: Mewtwo/Ness/Falco/Captain Falcon (people are crying and whining about him especially)

Tier2: Metaknight/Jigglypuff/Ice Climbers
