My store got told that too originally but now it's been cleared up the way it goes is this:

Store closes at 9PM all the employees have a meeting, go over all the rules and everything

Let people in at 10PM to play the tournament until midnight.

The winner at my store gets a stupid little trophy, like the kind they give away at wrestling tournaments in High School, plus the winner gets to compete in the next tournament (and hopefully for a better prize)

Once it hits midnight we sell the game.

The game for the tournament WILL be the full version so all characters and such but as far as we know all the characters will have to be unlocked throughout the night.  (Sorry for you Falcon or Falco players)

I dunno, when I preordered a week ago and when I called today, they said it STARTS at 9 pm. I suppose I'll just get there a little before 9 and wait if it is til midnight anyway.

Yeah we're telling people to show up at 9PM anyway cause the meeting shouldn't take till 10PM thats just the official time we gave ourselves.

my ebgames is in a mall so were not allowed to have a midnight release. i have to wait until 11:00 am the next morning.

only 3 days, 11 and 13 minutes left until i get brawl. minus 11 hours for all of you guys.



the nintendo wii will outsell the ps3 and the 360 combined by the end of 2008.                           

        PS3 will out sell the 360 june 2010.                                                                      

  GOTY of 2008 is super smash brothers brawl.... hopefully.

I took that quote out of your post, MANUELF, the vids are working fine now. They did get posted in another thread as well, but whatever, they're cool.

Pikachu is f*cking scary though haha.
