Ah, it wouldn't have mattered. When Brawl came out, we had a shitty router...couldn't connect to others or anything. So I spent money on a new router and got it working maybe...a month or two ago.

My thread comes up on google when you search for Ike tips?

Though that thread was derailed pretty quick. xD But it was a great thread though, lots of fond internet memories there.

lol, I can vouche for that. I use part-brain, part-spur of the moment.

Usually, it works out.

Lot's of my counters didn't work out as planned though, I heard the clanking sound but I still got hit. >_>

It's not MY fault the Wii-Mote seems like it could break into a million pieces...else I'd throw it more often than I do. Which I don't, by the way.

I dunno, I don't like to fight when I'm angry. It hinders my ability to think rationally in the battlefield.

 I've always wondered how Ike's and Marth's counters work.
I think they work by percents.
To illustrate.
Let's say the first few milliseconds the chances counter might work is 70%
Right in the middle it goes up to 95%.
Then it goes back to 70% after a few more milliseconds.

Of course I just pulled the numbers outta my ass, but you get the idea.

Marth really fucks Ike up with those counters. A countered forward smash can be pretty fatal.

Counter is entirely based on timing. No percentage base at all. Ike's Counter is just really bad. Very few actual counter frames and they're in the middle. You have to predict with it, you can't use it on reaction.
