I've always wondered how Ike's and Marth's counters work.
I think they work by percents.
To illustrate.
Let's say the first few milliseconds the chances counter might work is 70%
Right in the middle it goes up to 95%.
Then it goes back to 70% after a few more milliseconds.

Of course I just pulled the numbers outta my ass, but you get the idea.

 

I know what you mean, atleast. Damn counters and they're ability to screw us over.
