Ah k, thanks.

It's not a foot stool jump. I think it's a bug or something.
Similar to how Pit get's an extra short hop sometimes.
I'll try looking it up tomorrow.

No its a footstool jump. Footstool jumps have some extremely weird physics in some situations, and not every situation cause the footstooled to change animation. For instance, you can footstool jump off of an edge hogger but they won't change their animation. If you footstool someone while they're in mid attack, same thing.
