Interesting that Sony is not bundling the PSeye with the console. I wonder if the 399 is the base price and there will be a more expensive bundle with the PSeye and a move controller

the ps4 hdmi cable will be 1m shorter. at least some companies want 100 bucks for a meter lol.

With the PS+ requirement online, they probably plan to make money back.

First we have to see what a PS+ sub gets you on the PS4.  I know what it gets me for the PS3 and vita as its a great feature but if People do not have PS+ andare getting a PS4, they probably would like to know they are getting something besides MP.

Something no one is mentioning is the alleged yield issues.

If for every two consoles you produce you're only able to sell one* then you need to increase the price of the functioning ones to make up for the losses.

I think MS does not want to sell at a loss or a very big one. they are going for profit now that they have made a name for themselves in gaming

The lost leader model for consoles have come into question a lot. If MS feel they will not sell as many consoles as Sony, Going for profit without taking a hit might be the best route as it will not put MS in the red. If they are experiencing low yeilds, then that might be more of a blessing. They are able to ship as much units as they can produce and make a profit on it.

PS4's APU is cheaper than Xbone's APU due the eSRAM and Move Engines... MS is having trouble with production of Xbone's APU too... low yields.

yeah true, according to amazon the pseye is included but i still think it is not included otherwise sony would have mentioned it and they didn't. We will find out soon.
