399 for ps4, man Xbox one is a hard buy. Not sure what microsoft is thinking :(

I didn't realize the Xbone comes with a year of XBLG. When you consider that PS4 now requires PS+ for online play, that's a $60 value and makes the price difference $40.

A year? Here is 14 days.

Price sounds about right to me.

In the press release it says 14 days but that early adopters can also get a 12 month subscription. So I guess the free year applies to first run buyers and the 14 day trial probably comes with every console.

I think you only get a year of XBLG only if you preorder it.

The 12 months of XBLG for pre-orders takes a bit of the sting off although it is FAR from saying the cost is now only $440. Adding things to SKUs is not the same as reducing the price.

Not sure why more aren't pointing this out, but that $100 difference in price basically boils down to the required Kinect 2.0 in every box.

Already stated that I'm immigrating to Hong Kong, which only gets imported games. Not only that, but I'll probably go digital only.

But maybe Ms is breaking even or making a small profit on every unit. after all, they did nothing but take big losses on the whole xbox family, they NEED the imediate profit.
