HIgh traffic. I wouldn't be surprised if servers crashed today.

Servers have already crashed. You're late to the "party."

I could give you reasons why you are wrong, but instead I prefer to bet the PS4 will be cheaper, and even incur more profits straigthaway, and have a chance to change that ugly avatar of yours.

"More profits" or "less losses"?

Anyway, this is about $100 more than I was expecting.

Remember PS3 costed $499 in 2006.

Adjusted for inflation....$499 in 2013 is arguably a sweeter deal.

And we know MS is gonna subsidize and finance the crap out of this thing lol

The difference isn't much. Less than 100 dollars actually. And you still have to pay for live.

Pay for Live....and get free games ;)

Inspired by Playstation Plus :)

2 5-year old games, and I'm seeing people comparing it to the ICG from Sony's plus. They say they get around 4 games each month and they are not very old like sleeping dogs, batman arkham city, and others but I don't know which others they get for free.

And didn't people hated the free games?

Also, I forgot to mention something the sweeter deal part. Yeah, sweet deal paying 499 dollars for an anti-consumer product.

Sorry for bad English.

Dearer in the UK than the PS3? Did not see that one coming. I honestly thought, with them going first, that they wouldn't reveal the price. Will now be interesting to see the price of the PS4.

The games will get better, can only go up from here.

With all the exclusives, seems very gamer centric to me

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Waaaay too much for me, but even Wii U is also too much for me currently. I can't say whether or not this console is actually worth that much. Though I'm guessing it is. Kinect can't be cheap, and even without it the One is a bit of a powerhouse.

Well, seems like Nintendo is not the only one that knows how to screw a console launch. No XOne for me until it is $200 or lower.. which cold mean never, lol.

As usual, not enough RPGs for me. Hell, there's a good chance I won't even be buying XONE till 3-4 years after release. Launch price doesn't matter so much to me, its how much it will cost in the 3-4 year time frame.

LOL i am sure Sony ps4 would cost 499 . considering what you get the price is decent. At least its better then ps3 price of 599

That was the premium model. PS3 launched at 499/$599. Microsoft is repeating Sony's mistakes. Here's hoping Sony learned from theirs.
