It's incredibly beautiful. I don't think it's very debatable. Check a 1080p youtube vid and get back to me! |
Seen and played it that way, yeah.
@JazzB1987
I don't mind the blue or the bloom, but the grass is too yellowish. Still nothing that couldn't be fixed in a minute if Nintendo listens to their fans.

Wind Waker was also incredibly beautiful. I don't see why more is needed really. Nintendo should spend those resources on the new Zelda. |
EXACTLY!
Actually, I have no problem with them doing a remake. That's all fine and well. BUT WHY NOW!? AND WHERE are the other games!? Are they really coming? I've lost a little faith in Nintendo's ability to have a regular output of stellar games. And with HD new to them, they might just struggle even more.
Still, LOVE this game.

And you honestly think the Wii U version might look better?
(serious question btw)
@OP: I'm inclined to agree with you.
I love Wind Waker, I really do. I enjoyed every minute of it and I've been a fierce defender of it since it launched.
But I really hope we get something new, not just improved graphics. I want an excuse to play this game again, with so many other games on my backlog.
I love the new style for Wind Waker, I hope they don't let the very people who didn't want WW back then dictate the new style.

But that looks absolutely amazing!

I'll probably pick it up anyway :) despite this thread |
I actually don't know, but as far as I understood it we should be able to see that when playing the e3 demo...
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
Well, this seems like a little bit of an pointless thread sadly. How has Nintendos output been less than stellar? And I don't like playing through Dolphin out of principle, I'm sure many feel the same.
We will see the game tomorrow. Why not wait until then before judging?

Certainly. It's a full remake after all and not just a remaster.
The Dolphin "version" is basically the remaster that has better framerate and higher resolution but nothing of the other improvements.
So it basically comes down to if you rather like a cleaner look or if you rather like new effects and models
