Forums - Microsoft - 'Fable 3' free to download from Xbox Live (for Gold members)

Fable 3 is available as a free download from the official Xbox website.

Despite being listed for $19.99 on the Xbox Marketplace, choosing to download the game using Microsoft points unlocks the title for free.

 

It is unclear whether or not Microsoft has made a mistake with the listing, or if the game is being offered as a free download to coincide with the 2013 E3 gaming expo.

Fable 4 is among the games Microsoft is expected to unveil during today's (June 10) press conference, which kicks off at 5.30pm UK time.

The company recently announced Fable Anniversary for the Xbox 360.

Fable Anniversary will offer shorter load times than the original, a new save system, online leaderboards and a significant visual upgrade.

tried it and it worked. it said 39 euro on the german marketplace but when you click it it's free

Last year fable 2 had the same "Mistake" , I'm guessing its not a mistake.

I can't seem to access it through the website...



PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

It neither works with my xbox nor with my PC it says not enough microsoft points so I cant buy it...  GERMAN account used.
