Your saying the xbox can't out sell the ps4 in japan so in turn ps4 cant out sell xbone in America, correct?

I was not talking about loyalty.

MS caters to an americain audience much better than Sony.  All the features and games are centered toward western culture as opposed to Sony playstaion brand.

And again, they just gave the entire middle of America way to Sony on a silver platter with their online check ins. I don’t think you understand how bad the internet is in rural America. MS only did a good job because Sony made so many mistakes in the first few years of the ps3 life. PS2 had no problem keeping America on lock and it seems Sony is back on their game and MS is making all the blunders. 

Do you not think MS thought about that? They must have, its their job to know who they are targeting or not. The Xbox brand is stronger then the playstation brand in NA thats a fact. Sony's mishaps were the reason why the Xbox did a great job this gen and the damage is done. If sony is back in the game why isnt the ps3 outselling the 360 on weekly basis in NA today?

So.. the PS4 has a much broader market to appeal towards than the Xbone. We don't really know enough yet to predict which console will outsell the other, however, since Sony's console COULD still be riddled with DRM.... (mainly from publishers).

 

While that a possibility it will be the usual suspects, EA and Activision and as gamers we will have the choice not to support those games that employ DRM. Simple. When their sales drop they will drop DRM.

360 is cheaper, and 10 k difference is laughable.

Depends if the U.S. tires of shooters.
If they do PS4 will. If not Xbox One will

Globally the XBONE will not be available on day one! just a selcted few countries... that will let PS4 have a headstart because this will not have regional restriction, even when it seems it will not release on asian markets this year... but will available to importation if anyone want it...

Not like XBO, because the XLive service will be unavailable on countries that aren't listed... funfact, the game the Witcher III will not be available on the developer's country home, Poland, the first day

So, globally will let PS4 a lead of at least 2:1, and much more when release on asian markets beginning next year how is rumoured...

On US, PS4 could have a lead at the start, may be, but XBO could end cutting that later with Halos and such titles and even taking the lead... because it seems like early adopters are more inclinned for PS4 , I'm one of those ....

Just like EA recently droped Online Pass (even made free of charge Online passes for old and current games), and SONY have too for future PS4 titles...

 

If people embrace the ps4 massivelly (like PS2 was once) then the industry could take a turn for better in to favor the consumers for once! If any developer take DRM policies probably will flop on PS4, because is just stupid to check online to play offline...
