Your saying the xbox can't out sell the ps4 in japan so in turn ps4 cant out sell xbone in America, correct? 

It swung from PS2 to Wii at the beginning of the gen and now to 360 (well soon) so why couldn't it swing back? Not saying it'll happen but getting rid of the 2 biggest advantages 360 had (year head start and $200 price advantage) should help.

MS caters to an americain audience much better than Sony.  All the features and games are centered toward western culture as opposed to Sony playstaion brand.

And again, they just gave the entire middle of America way to Sony on a silver platter with their online check ins. I don’t think you understand how bad the internet is in rural America. MS only did a good job because Sony made so many mistakes in the first few years of the ps3 life. PS2 had no problem keeping America on lock and it seems Sony is back on their game and MS is making all the blunders.

The first 2 years lineup of software for these consoles is going to be do or die in America

Due to how decentralized the USA is, internet infrastructure is nowhere near the capabilities that Europeans have. Our coverage here is much spottier outside heavily-populated areas.

So.. the PS4 has a much broader market to appeal towards than the Xbone. We don't really know enough yet to predict which console will outsell the other, however, since Sony's console COULD still be riddled with DRM.... (mainly from publishers).
