Forums - Microsoft - MS gamers on Xbox.com assess the Xbox One

So it's a thread that basically spells out issues he has with Xbone and why Sony is better in his opinion. There are a hundred VGChartz threads like that we can read.

Trying to get in as many threads as you can before E3 eh?

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Um...saw it on the official Xbox site forums. When things like this happen on the official forum shit has definitely hit the fan with the actual gamers, because word tends to spread like wildfire. They all discussed it without arguing either, which means this was a gamer issue because everyone stood together on the issue.

Yeah until you go to the main page and see tons of different threads most of which seem to be excited for the console. And of course there was no arguing, that's what happens when threads start out so negatively. Negative birds of a negative feather. You see the same thing here. A lof of Xbox fans will just ignore a thread because if they say what's on their mind then it's a gang pile.

Just don't see the big deal about that thread. Hell a lot of stuff in it is not even accurate or up to date. Oh well, toodles.

As i am unable to post a forum thread yet (50 post thingy)... this seemed the most appropriate.

MS spells out some things about the XBox

Please..if that guy didnt come into that thread strapped with facts he would've been flagged for flaming baiting. Tends to happen even when someone is telling the truth, doesn't matter unless you have the facts. Luckily for MS those fans are really fans, but they weighed the pros and cons and they are lucky they have fans so loyal.

While a persistent connection is not required, Xbox One is designed to verify if system, application or game updates are needed and to see if you have acquired new games, or resold, traded in, or given your game to a friend. Games that are designed to take advantage of the cloud may require a connection.

With Xbox One you can game offline for up to 24 hours on your primary console, or one hour if you are logged on to a separate console accessing your library. Offline gaming is not possible after these prescribed times until you re-establish a connection, but you can still watch live TV and enjoy Blu-ray and DVD movies.

No thanks Microsoft

Even though i have a reliable internet connection, I personally wont support that kind of tactic. If Sony pull the same crap i wont buy theirs either. I dont mind the 2nd hand sales as personally i dont buy 2nd hand games or trade in games, but i wont be put in a situation where a game i've purchased cant/wont play.

I got stung with Diablo, and thats probably the last online DRM game ive purchased. I really wanted to get SimCity, but just couldnt do it. I hate the idea that i cannot play a game when a company decides it cant be bothered or wants me to move to the next platform. This is why i really love GOG games and support them as much as i cant (got about 90+ games on it).

Man, with all that information compiled into one post, the situation now seems even more dire.

As for people saying this is stuff we already know, I don't know if I haven't been on VGC enough, but half of it was news to me.

Let's be honest, MS doesnt need any help spreading negativity they are doing a good job of it themselves ;) Even the most pro MS people at work seem extremely depressed about the whole situation.
