Games that are designed to take advantage of the cloud may require a connection. With Xbox One you can game offline for up to 24 hours on your primary console, or one hour if you are logged on to a separate console accessing your library. Offline gaming is not possible after these prescribed times until you re-establish a connection, but you can still watch live TV and enjoy Blu-ray and DVD movies. No thanks Microsoft |
Even though i have a reliable internet connection, I personally wont support that kind of tactic. If Sony pull the same crap i wont buy theirs either. I dont mind the 2nd hand sales as personally i dont buy 2nd hand games or trade in games, but i wont be put in a situation where a game i've purchased cant/wont play.
I got stung with Diablo, and thats probably the last online DRM game ive purchased. I really wanted to get SimCity, but just couldnt do it. I hate the idea that i cannot play a game when a company decides it cant be bothered or wants me to move to the next platform. This is why i really love GOG games and support them as much as i cant (got about 90+ games on it).
