Lol nope, I openly "Trash" overrated games , Bioshock Infinite , Uncharted, Gears,  Batman Arkham City, Ass Creed (I hate this game the most) , Far Cry among other things.

Ask yourself this , does Bioshock infinite deserve all the praise it got? the gameplay is repetitive as hell, sure the storyline, but the gun play is so bland and repetitive and killed the mood of the game by killing everyone

Far Cry 3 it was supposed to be survival but everyone is an idiot you feel like you're the one hunting the pirates rather than be hunted

Uncharted 3 ... was rushed as hell , I bet you can't deny that.

Gears is... generic... very very generic , and dumb , very dumb plotwise.

Arkham City is alright, but not "the best game of all time" like a lot of people say.

How can you consider The Last of Us overrated?  It hasn't even been rated yet. And you certainly never played the game.

Naughty Dog games arent over rated.

Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped is one of the greatest games of all time. Of all time.

Uncharted 2 is probably defined the action adventure genre. It is yet to be surpassed. Tomb Raider, while brilliant, doesnt quite make it. Uncharted 3 wasnt as good, but then again, it wasnt the Uncharted 2 team.

Sure if the game turned out as good as the hype, thats great, it happened with Ass Creed 2, I hated the first game, loved the second, now I hate it again because the plot.

Whenever I read anything of this sort it as I judge these games as such but rather as I judge how PEOPLE judge these games, so basically another hipster that's trying to go against pop culture by merely reacting to it.  I personally don't believe in overrated, in the idea that something can be too praised for what it is in the end. For such a thing you would need an universally accepted scale of measurement for the quality of a game to which we could compare a certain production.

I also believe Gears of War is catching way too much flak for what the game is. There are few post apocalyptic games with a feel as good as Gears, with a cast of characters so well defined - and yes, stereotypical or not, they are well defined characters - or with such tight gameplay. Whatever anyone may say, I don't personally see Gears as being generic. Unless you judge stuff at face value and ignore most of a production's assets. In that case, a conversation is pointless.

Bioshock Infinite does deserve the praise. It's a really good FPS with interesting combat mechanics that I already loved a lot in the original game. The gameplay doesn't reinvent the wheel. And it doesn't need to. And of course, the story...  In my case, it probably helps that I hardly play FPSs, and only go for the ones that I feel have a very interesting setting and premise.  Bioshock is one of them.

Far Cry 3? Looked interesting, but not enough for me to be willing to play.  A good friend of mine enjoyed it grealty, and he's not into FPSs except for Borderland.

Uncharted 3 was great. Just not as great as U2. The fact it wasn't by the same team probably accounts to a lot. I still think it's an extremely polished game, even if it doesn't reach the damn near flawless quality of Uncharted 2. 

Gears is very polished in its gameplay. But yes, I don't really enjoy the Epic way of doing games. All macho, no soul, no depth in the story...  Still a very polished cover based shooter as far as gameplay is concerned. 

Arkham City is great, and certainly the best game of all time to a lot of people who have their own opinion. Get over yourself.
