Ask yourself this , does Bioshock infinite deserve all the praise it got? the gameplay is repetitive as hell, sure the storyline, but the gun play is so bland and repetitive and killed the mood of the game by killing everyone
Far Cry 3 it was supposed to be survival but everyone is an idiot you feel like you're the one hunting the pirates rather than be hunted
Uncharted 3 ... was rushed as hell , I bet you can't deny that.
Gears is... generic... very very generic , and dumb , very dumb plotwise.
Arkham City is alright, but not "the best game of all time" like a lot of people say.

Bioshock Infinite does deserve the praise. It's a really good FPS with interesting combat mechanics that I already loved a lot in the original game. The gameplay doesn't reinvent the wheel. And it doesn't need to. And of course, the story... In my case, it probably helps that I hardly play FPSs, and only go for the ones that I feel have a very interesting setting and premise. Bioshock is one of them.
Far Cry 3? Looked interesting, but not enough for me to be willing to play. A good friend of mine enjoyed it grealty, and he's not into FPSs except for Borderland.
Uncharted 3 was great. Just not as great as U2. The fact it wasn't by the same team probably account to alot. I still think it's an extremely polished game, even if it doesn't reach the damn near flawless quality of Uncharted 2.
Gears is very polished in its gameplay. But yes, I don't really enjoy the Epic way of doing games. All macho, no soul, no depth in the story... Still a very polished cover based shooter as far as gameplay is concerned.
Arkham City is great, and certainly the best game of all time to a lot of people who have their own opinion. Get over yourself.

You are voicing a definitive opinion about something you haven't even experienced. Your "I smell it will be so doesn't cut it. No two way around it:
