Gears set the benchmark for 3rd person shooters, and I dare you to find an action/adventure game better than Uncharted 2. 


Set the bar for generic cover based shooters with hordes of enemies attacking and basically a stale gameplay mechanic of just waiting there till the wave of enemies die out and then continue to the next cover, and its not the first game to have a cover mechanic there is a lot of games before it that had this and were better games , for example Everything or Nothing.

Lol nope, I openly "Trash" overrated games , Bioshock Infinite , Uncharted, Gears,  Batman Arkham City, Ass Creed (I hate this game the most) , Far Cry among other things.

Ask yourself this , does Bioshock infinite deserve all the praise it got? the gameplay is repetitive as hell, sure the storyline, but the gun play is so bland and repetitive and killed the mood of the game by killing everyone

Far Cry 3 it was supposed to be survival but everyone is an idiot you feel like you're the one hunting the pirates rather than be hunted

Uncharted 3 ... was rushed as hell , I bet you can't deny that.

Gears is... generic... very very generic , and dumb , very dumb plotwise.

Arkham City is alright, but not "the best game of all time" like a lot of people say.
