Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft – Xbox One Will Surprise The World At E3

So I am pretty much expecting them to show gameplay of certain games like Ryse, Quantum Break, Forza 5, EA Sports games, COD: Ghosts, and some Kinect experiences/games. I also expect to get some sneak peaks of the new Halo TV series. I fully expect as well to see them tease their new black tusk studios game as well as at least a few of the exclusives. Maybe a new Perfect Dark, Something from Lionhead Studios that is either a  whole new IP or a revamp of Fable back to its roots. Maybe a Crackdown 3 with the new graphics.

If they do all that I will be generally pleased, but not surprised, or shocked granted of course depending on how good the visual graphics and capabilities in the games may make me more surprised if they are specatular. Something of a huge surprise to me would be seeing some of the new IPs and being blown away by their visuals and inovation to gameplay. Also if they do reboot Perfect Dark with incredible looking gameplay, or show off a completely different looking and amazing Fable game then I would be pretty impressed and surprised. Im hoping the Rare title is not a Banjo Kazooie or viva pinata game lol! I fully expect to see some family games presented, but the majority I'm hoping will be adult oriented with amazing storytelling and unique gameplay experiences.

If they make at least 80% of their conference about the games I will be very pleased. To surprise/shock me I need to see some of the amazing new IPs and/or be amazed by the visuals and abilities of the Xbox One games that have already been anounced.

Do people think Sony will have the best E3 because they show off the console? No offense but if that makes you think they won E3 then your a fool. I don't want to hear 30 minutes of them talking about the design of the console etc....

Yes. Indeed. Everyone thinks Sony will have the best E3 because they'll show the console. ¬_¬

And of course, when they do show the console, they'll talk about the design for 30 minutes. No, scratch that, they'll spend an entire hour talking about the design choices, and why it is black, or the reason for the shape of that particular vent. That's like the most reasonable thing to expect from them. Right?

No. Just like MS's, there will be plenty of games announced and lots of features discussed. It won't be black and white. And I'm sure the fans of both companies will be hyped for the coming future of console gaming.

I definitely think MS is in the best position to deliver a killer conference. They got all the multimedia features talk out of the way. They revealed the console, kinect, and the controller. All that's left to do, is show the games, and talk about Xbox Live improvements. They got 15 games in the works, are investing a ton of cash, and we've yet to hear the juicy details of their deal with EA. There will likely be some big 3rd party exclusives as well.

I don't really see how this can go sideways for them

That 1 Billion sounds again good on paper. The real question should be in which they spend the 1 Billion and how mch they already have spended wih the DLCS for EA Sport games.

Does this number include the 200 M they spend for EA?
Does this number include all the Advertising for the games and so on? ( Halo says hello with its huge Marketing )

How much Money do Microsoft invest with the Call of Duty deals.

1 Billion Sound like a lot but in the end it depends in what this Money get invested.

I'll go with this for now. This is from a translation though and i feel a little may have been lost in that translation.

they do know how to surprise at E3 though, they've done it before with resulting internet meltdowns.

I only remember 1 meltdown at E3 when they announced a FFXIII 360 version.

Unless you're talking about timed exclusive content, which is not meltdown worthy.

wasnt there one after the shirt sleeve incident?

What was that?

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
