Forums - Gaming - This E3 already near, what is the thing you most fear that your preferred company's competitor will do?

I don't fear anything. Whatever the competition comes up with, even genuine quality exclusive stuff, I will probably see as healthy competition rather than a realistic threat in any form.

Whatever they might come up with I believe our side will be able to match that with at least twice as much. I feel very confident, I feel very good about our position right now.

I just hope Microsoft doesn't screw up. I really, really want them to make a compelling, competitive console that can please gamers as well as the other consoles. I have my fingers crossed. They can stop the backlash at E3, or sink themselves even more.

I hope each manufacturer has an awesome E3, with nothing but good to say afterwards.
What I don't wish for are those ridiculous lawsuits that are happening in mobile-land for a while now. Seeing microsoft ban the ps4 or vice versa...

Dead Rising 3 Xbone exclusive. I know it is coming, but I dread watching it unfold. I can only hope that a GOTY edition eventually winds up on a device that I would ever buy.

And Nintendo not announcing Earthbound Wii U WHEN I AM ABSOLUTELY SURE THEY WILL would be even worse.

Sony gets exclusives for big names like Final Fantasy.

Microsoft getting exclusive games and content for Star Wars, Mass Effect, Dead Space, Assassin's Creed or the next Red Dead-game if there ever is one

I don't really have "preferred" anything really. That makes e3 really exciting, because it's kinda like being on the bachelor and having 3 exceptionally hot girls make their pitch to you as to why you should sleep with them. I've already banged bachelorette #1, Wiiu. She's hot and Asian. But I would like to know what she's got to make me want to do it again. Now I also want to know what chick 2&3 will offer. I know their specs are good - at least a D-cup with some serious junk in the trunk - but if they're just going to be lazy and lie there I'm not interested. Also, if they're high maintenance and are going to suck my money dry I'll wait until they are over 30 and more desperate.

My biggest fear is just that a system will have both some exclusive games that I really want, but also a price/feature that really turns me off. Something like COD exlcusive to XBOne but the system is $499 with mandatory $75 Live annually to play online and no used games. Or an amazing new Final Fantasy exclusive to PS4 but the system is $599 and also going to paid match-making. I don't think these things are likely, but they would suck if true.
