Oh good, more armchair analysts

The cynic in me says this is a direct response to the fact that it's already accepted that the PS4 has better hardware specs post official XB1 reveal.

Personally, I don't think the differences should matter to anyone but the most ridiculous of spec hounds who buy their goods based solely on numbers alone, but again, this could be a damage control issue for MS for not releasing "the best" hardware this round.

On a related note, Sony acquired Gaikai last year, meaning they should already have working/functional infrastructure in place for cloud based gaming today.

I was actually hoping people would come in here and challenge what I'm saying. Instead, all of you seem to have the same opinion.

Pretty easy to agree if you aren't a rabid fanboy.

Actually, I wouldn't undervalue the opinion of the gamers here. For instance, I've owned NES, Megadrive, PSOne, PS2, GC, Xbx, PS3, X360, Wii, and I (literally) live with two indie devs.

For one, I don't much feel like getting into an argument with you, because I've seen a lot of your comments around here, and most of it is rubbish.

There are clearly developers who have already said that they will be able to make good use of the X1's cloud capabilities, so this entire thread basically amounts to blablabla.

And I'm on a video game forum to talk about games/consoles with other people who share the same passion. Interestingly enough, there's a large group of people here, who's only passion seems to be talking shit about companies/products they don't personally support.

Some devs seem to think it's the way to go... devs like Nintendo and Avalanche Studio... those who call this BS are mostly indie devs...
