Gamecube is my favorite console so I would have no problem with it.

It had great 1st party games-Sunshine, Wind Waker, Prime, Star Fox Adventures, Pikmin, Melee, Double Dash, Custom Robo, F-Zero, Luigi Mansion

really good 3rd party exclusives-Tales of Symphonia, Resident Evil(remake/Zero/4), Viewtiful Joe, Sonic Adventure, Billy Hatcher, Rogue Squadron, Twin Snakes

decent multiplat support-Need For Speed, Tony Hawk, Splinter Cell, EA Sports, Prince of Persia, Ghost Recon, Medal of Honor, Soul Calibur 2

Basically everything I could ask for in a console.

It wouldn't bother me much. Maybe just a bit.

As a gamer it would please me a lot, since some great games came out for the cube, especially Melee, Pikmin, Prime and Resi 4.

However in general it was a bit of a letdown of a console in terms of both content and popularity. Popularity is important for support, and that ties back to content.

Except from the point of view where Nintendo will gain less money - possibly resulting in less games developed in the future. And less risks being taken.

The Gamecube's my fave console ever, so another one just like it and I would be ecstatic.

If the WiiU gets games like Wind Waker, Luigi's Mansion, Metroid Prime, Pikmin & Rogue Squadron I'm more than happy.
