you dont know when either game started development, so i dont know how you can claim which game has been in development longer to be fact.

and we dont know the framerate of Driveclub. last i heard the devs said they were targetting 60fps. it looks like they wouldnt have hit that if they released at launch, but with the couple month delay i wouldnt be surprissed if it gets bumbed up to 60fps.

as for the bolded. that would be akin to saying if Tomb Raider Doesnt look better than Uncharted 3 because it came out 6 months after it, it would be a joke. after all its the same genre and had longer dev time. fact.

sounds like damage control to me.

lolololololo @ calling it damage control in the same reply where you say you wouldn't be surprised if a couple months delay could result in a bump from 30 to 60 frames per second. All you did with that comment was prove my point for me, so thanks.

Also, nowhere in any of these posts did I say a word about development times. I said one game had to meet a launch deadline and the other did not. This factual claim you're going on about, idk what you're talking about. You seem as confused as the last guy who replied.

The Tomb Raider example is crap because that's a 3rd party MP game and there is no huge frame rate difference between the two. Also, neither were launch games. So I get to open and close the reply with a good laugh. Thanks. Last reply I will make to this thread.

It would be a shame if DC doesn't look better since it no longer has a launch deadline to make.

Oh, I see, you're preparing for the old 'it's had longer in development' argument.

You mean I am stating a fact?

Game A is a launch game, Game B was a launch game before it got delayed to get some more time in the oven. Oh, lets not forget that Game A and Game B are the exact same genre, but Game B runs at half the frame rate.

Are you going to tell me Game B should not look better? It would be a joke if DC does not look quite a bit better honestly.

It looked better from the start. The only thing people talked about was the lack of anti-aliasing. The difference is it was actual footage from the game, not mock up footage.

The PS5 Exists.

So does anyone know if Driveclub will still be free on PS+ when released?

Can you tell me the exact day both games started being produced? Please, you seem like such a knowledgeable guy, and I really need to know.

Thanks, friend! I am a knowledgeable guy. Too bad you aren't, or you'd not have asked me some stupid question in a manner that would suggest I know or have been hinting at the answer. Let me break it down easy for you.

Is Forza 5 a launch game? Yes.
Is Driveclub a launch game? No.

Hope that helped.

That much, I knew. But what difference does it make if, for example, both games were created in the same amount of time? What if production for both titles took a year and a half when all is said and done?

In any case, you're just being your usual self. Making attempts at downplaying the merits of Sony related stuff, using petty arguments. Speaking of which, don't you enjoy Forza 5 right now? A game from a series that has consistently scored 90% or more on metacritics due to its technical merits and awesome gameplay and content! Oh, wait...

Yes, there will still be a PS+ version. This can be upgraded to the full version for a cut price.

Wow, 255, this is the number of blind gamers who dont see the significative gap between next gen driveclub and Forza 5...

Nobleteam : a little part of the game will be free to try it, but you really should buy it, they deserve your money much more than any other next gen drive game.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

If I find the game to be worth the price after I try the free version then I'll consider buying it.

The funny thing is I bet Sony delayed the game because they wanted to make sure it was up to snuff with Forza 5. Considering how Forza 5 turned out, they could have released it at launch and still been a whole other league in terms of graphics. I mean the last build they showed was gorgeous.

are you trolling right now? you must have some serious congnitive dissonance to actually believe what your saying.
