Because I've seen the huge downgrade from the E3 trailer, which was claimed to be gameplay, to the TGS trailer, which was actual gameplay.

You saw a tech demo running in real time. Isn't it more likely for the game to get better just like every other game on the PS4? Why assume just one game will be different?

Drive Club no doubt!! FORZA disapointed.. Just take a look at the crowd in the game.. Fugly!!! Wat were they thinkin?? And no night driving Or weather changes (rain etc)??? WTF!!!?Its the nxt gen people, there is no excuses for not having that in the game!.less tracks, less cars, took short cuts...Lazy developer!! That game is not worth the price cuz its not a full game!!
DC better have night drivin n rain Or I'll b labeling thm lazy as well.

Thanks, friend! I am a knowledgeable guy. Too bad you aren't, or you'd not have asked me some stupid question in a manner that would suggest I know or have been hinting at the answer. Let me break it down easy for you.

Is Forza 5 a launch game? Yes.
Is Driveclub a launch game? No.

you dont know when either game started development, so i dont know how you can claim which game has been in development longer to be fact. 

and we dont know the framerate of Driveclub. last i heard the devs said they were targetting 60fps. it looks like they wouldnt have hit that if they released at launch, but with the couple month delay i wouldnt be surprissed if it gets bumbed up to 60fps.

as for the bolded. that would be akin to saying if Tomb Raider Doesnt look better than Uncharted 3 because it came out 6 months after it, it would be a joke. after all its the same genre and had longer dev time. fact.

sounds like damage control to me.
