Forums - Gaming - Are Sony fans worried about XB1's 15 exclusives?

Face recognition software that must be connected online when using it. Let's think of a worse case scenario with this... I don't like that. I'm sure most people wont. I've never owned a nintendo console before, but, I watched microsoft's conference because i was interested in their stuff, and I came out more interested in a Wii U.

So, no, it doesn't matter what microsoft has. No matter what game it is. It could be "battle toads X Double Dragon X Streets of Rage." I'm absoulty not getting their console due to what it is, and how you're forced to use it. Whatever game they do have, I've survived 23 years without it, and will be just fine with something else.

I like battle toads. Wanted a new game so badly... With Xbox One, it just doesn't matter anymore. I'll get it if it comes to 360.

Not worried at all.

What I would love to see are 15 new, first-party titles that really give me a reason to buy an Xbox One (particularly for someone who isn't interested in motion controls).  What I hope I don't see are currently-multiplatform franchises announced as exclusive or timed-exclusive titles for the Xbox One.  Ultimately, I would love to see all consoles have great, unique first-party exclusives, and less reliance on third-party exclusivity.

Ninja Turtles is back on XBL and PSN. You can get youe Battletoads fix there. It looks better than the Deadpool game to tell you the truth.

As long as they don't steal our JRPGs like they did in 2008, I'm fine.

Nobody "stole" anything. The JRPGs that came to the 360 in 2008 found its fanbase, and eventually made their way into the PS3.

I'm not worried about the 15 exclusive games. I think having new IPs for the coming generation, is great. My worries is regarding the future of the industry, which is a totally different subject altogether.

Ninja Turtles are not shape shifting battle toads.  Battle Toads are generally more violent than the turtles anyway.  If they were in HD, we'd have blood, gore decapitations, and a lot of other things that we just don't get in turtles.  I know turtles are coming.  I'm thinking about it.  I was talking about an Xbox One exclusive, because microsoft owns the toads, and I can't get them on Playstation.

Just giving a suggestion. Battletoads and Ninja Turtles were very close to each other in gameplay back when I was really, really young. Rare isn't the Rare it used to be, and I don't even think that game will come back without being niche. Microsoft is only going to invest in a title they think can sell. Killer Instinct will probably get a push this gen out of the old Rare titles. Splatterhouse came bak and ended up tanking.

It is underwhelming right now. Team Ico hasn't done anything the seventh generation, apart from that HD remaster. At this rate they'll never release the game, and I'd rather think Ps3 instead of never ever.

They didn't even do anything for that, other than sending the source code over to Bluepoint to figure out.

Of course not. But it's been like, six years without any news at all. Not a gameplay video or anything, not at all. At this rate, it will be The Last Guardian Forever.

The last we heard/saw anything from The Last Guardian was at TGS in 2010, about 2 and a half years ago.  Not sure where you got 6 years from :|
