I liked it over all, I just had a problem with the used game fee. So other than that I'm still thinking about getting the Xbox 1 but I'm waiting until E3.

I've been meaning to ask people this without a thread so i want to ask you since I've always looked at you being a reasonable guy.  But why is it that you care about this fee?  Shouldn't the money go to the publisher/developer rather than retailers like gamestop getting 100% of the money?  Isn't that kind of jipping the people who made the game?  It has been no secret that ive never supported used games, but the way this works you are still allowed to resell your games.  So what exactly don't you like about it?  Say you buy a game at 60 dollars and beat the game.  You can resell it to a retailer for let's say $30.  You still saved $30.  The only difference is that now the developer/publisher gets money when used games gets bought rather than the retailer taking 100% of the money.  This is a win for people who buy games and like to resell them, retailers, and the developers.

By the way this is a real question.

The question wasn't for me but why do people always bring in Gamespot. Is that the only place people buy or trade used games. Also you don't buy used but i thought you used the rental service like gamefly. How is that any different.

Still it is not such a big deal to you and me. The whole used game issue. Price drop the fastest on PC and if the market can't sustain it. It would follow the same on consoles.

GameStop is the main used rental place.  Best Buy and other retailers has started to do it but none are as big as GameStop.

I do use gamefly.  Rental retailers pay for licensing though and developers/publishers still get paid.  So they may get some kind of special discs or codes to go along with the games.  MSFT said they have been working with retailers so rentals hasn't been answered yet.  I am waiting for what they have to say about that.  Even if I cant rent anymore I won't be upset though.  I play steam so Im very use to not being able to do this kind of stuff.  Steam is great in the sense that they offer amazing deals often though.  XBL has been recently trying to do the same so they may take the steam approach with offereing deals.

"Skype with Kinect 2 is a perfect match"

Can you please explain to me how so? Legit question since I use Skype.

i think it would be nice if you would play online with 2 friends and you could have the game on the left site of the screen and two skype windows on the right site where you would see both friends.

a co-op game like gears of war or destiny with those possibilities should be really awesome.

I like it, but I'd like to know what will be available here in Europe

I hope that the Crackdown 3 rumors or true. If that game turns out well, Microsoft has a shot at selling me an Xbox One eventually.

1. The design - finally a console that does not look like a console. It feels fresh to have a device under my TV that matches my other devices perfectly. My consoles always looked like something else as if they just did not fit there. Even if it is just going to be another Netflix box.

2. The 15 exclusive titles. MS invested so much in their first party support and Xbox One will see the benefits. Fair enough.

3. The controller looks just awesome. Improved D-Pad and a great design overall. Looks as smooth as a Wii U pro controller.

4. Kinect 2.0 seems to work perfectly well. If you like being watched by a creepy camera while you blow up the last Halo ringworld.

5. The OS is by far the best this industry has ever seen. This is the first time we actually see real multitasking on a console and it works just fine. Why would you need to multi-task on a console?

6. The DVR to capture your 1337-M0M3n75 And this why I will not be buying an X1. The SC2 community is the community for me.

7. Xbox Live will once again be the most advanced service in this industry. 300k server is just mindblowing. The huge increase in servers indicates that MMOs will finally play a bigger role on consoles. Yeah right. You ever try playing WoW with 360 controller? Impossible.

8. Skype with Kinect 2 is a perfect match. Nuff said. Group video chat costs money though.

9. The combination of TV and Gaming like Quantum Break or Halo is so awesome. I said it dozens of times that Sony must be blind to not see the potential of a mix between their TV and gaming studios. The fact that MS did this before Sony thought about it speaks volumes.

10. 3rd part support will be crazy. With EA and Activision MS secured the 2 bigget 3rd party publishers in the world to prefer their console. You do realize people play videogames in Europe, Japan, Australia, and Asia right? Those publishers are only huge in America.

11. The launch lineup will be incredible. WatchDogs, Assassin's Creed IV, Forza Motorsport 5, Quantum Break, Battlefield 4, Fifa 14, UFC, CoD and many many more. This is how a lineup for the first year should look like. That's a lot of dudebro games. Well except maybe Watch Dogs.

Oh you...!

OT: Why are there all of the sudden these "NO this" "NO that" threads? When did VGC become so dictator-y?

Anyhow, I do like the controller. They didn't sway too much from the original design, which is a good thing. Not sure how much I like the actual console's design, though. It could grow on me.

I like the rumble feature on the individual triggers haha  I think that will be pretty interesting.  I thought the original X360 controller looked better design wise though.  Just my opinion though.

Well, Crackdown was the kind of game which wasn't completely polished and maybe not even AAA, but it was a neat little open-world game that actively rewarded the player no matter what crazy stunts were pulled by giving them greater stunt-pulling ability. Problem with the game (and the sequel to an even greater extent) was its throwaway plot and generic setting. I would consider going a more comedic, over-the-top route for the third game but I'll at least be content with a better setting, higher production values, and less glaring technical issues.

That's a thing? Hm, interesting. (I haven't looked fully into the XBO, that's why I could only comment on desgins.)

I'm not sure about that. The 360's was nice, but this one has more "flare"!
