Also, GTAIV had exclusive timed-DLC for the 360 so it makes sense that, for the current generation, that's where the biggest GTA fanbase is. Also, the 360 is more popular than the PS3 in the US.


yes I hate Somy very much but I am not a fanboy. I have hated Sony ever since they destroyed Sega and tried to destroy Nintendo. If you pay attention you can see that Sony has an agenda to destroy the gaming industry as we know it. I would tell more but I have a thread coming up for it.

Well, good to see TLoU and Animal Crossing doing well (though I wonder how accurate pre-orders are? I imagine Animal Crossing will have the higher opening but no doubt a large number of sales will be online).

Also, Pokemon and Pikmin starting to surge now which is good to see.

I just put in my order for The Last of Us this week.

That makes it the FIRST EVER playstation game that I have not only ever preordered, but made a day 1 buy. I intend to do the same with Beyond.

I have a feeling The Last of Us could have the biggest Week 1 for a new IP. I believe the highest this gen is Gears of War.

As for other games, I have Splinter Cell Blacklist, Remember Me, Destiny and Watch Dogs all preordered. However, I will be looking at switching my Destiny and Watch Dogs preorders to next gen consoles when they are available.

Well, this thread got derailed by a very interesting new member that I haven't seen around here before.

Still, Naughty Bear 2 got 19k pre-orders this week. Seems legit.

(More seriously, if Animal Crossing is getting this many pre-orders then I can see it doing very well, because Japan has shown us that it's not the type of game which people pre-order).

The Last of us and Kindom Herats are doing great.
Animal Crossing is doing great too.

And call me crazy but i like Assassins Creed doing such bad numbers. Ubisoft is trying to make Asssassins Creed the next Call of Duty ( from a release point of view). So hopefully the series decline in the future.
