If MS at E3 shows a fair balance of retail, XBLA, and kinect, I seriously hope people like you won't write the whole damn thing off because it had one kinect title that didn't appeal to you. You better view it with a objective mind, and do a ratio crunch (retail/digital/kinect). If Kinect specific games get majority attention, then I concede. If not, then I expect you to act accordingly. And relaunch kinect? Its bundled with every Xbox. That is 100% market penetration. There is no longer any urgency to appeal to the kinect crowd because everybody will have one. |
Didn't you see where I said MS better have a 10/10 E3 because of this recent showing to change the core gamer perception of them? They are going to need to bring their A game. Get kinect out of the way during the casual showing and leave E3 for the core gamers and they've just upped their E3 ten times higher than any other E3 they've had for the past four years.
Don't think it was the lack of games that made people so mad, atleast not the only thing..
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing

Sure, but will they do it? If Adam Orth told us something is that MS doesn't care about what gamers think. They will follow this business strategy.
Only if the Xbox One is a complete disaster in both hardware sales and software sales, then MS will change this stuff, but for now it doesn't look like it.

Ok. It would just be very upsetting to see people write off Rare, Blacktusk, Lionhead, Turn10........all because MS announced Dance Central 3.

How so? The PR backlash is still very heated. A few mainstream media sites giving positive reviews is not a saving grace for MS.

And to think all this could have been avoided if MS planned this event like 2 days before E3 instead of 2 weeks, and publically said before hand: We will get the things out of the way for you gamers and bring it at E3".
