A new Banjo with next gen graphics would be great for Microsoft

Then its still a fail because we'll be hearing about Kinect games. They didnt talk about one Kinect title, which means we're in trouble at E3.

lol @ loyalty free statement when you are making clear biased assumptions.Sure we will get kinect games, but XBLA and retail will get their fair share.

WTF are you talking about? They are going to try to relaunch Kinect and a good chunk of those new games will be kinect titles.

Yeah but the last couple E3's for Microsoft hasn't been that great

Because it had content that we saw yesterday, content that therefore won't be at this years E3. All this outrage was better to be had now, then at E3.

To be fair, it would be better to not have it at all.

Yesterday was very much like Microsofts E3 for the last 3-4 years. Except they showed a trailer of COD instead of a demo of the SP that COD fans don't give a pooh about

If MS at E3 shows a fair balance of retail, XBLA, and kinect, I seriously hope people like you won't write the whole damn thing off because it had one kinect title that didn't appeal to you.

You better view it with a objective mind, and do a ratio crunch (retail/digital/kinect). If Kinect specific games get majority attention, then I concede. If not, then I expect you to act accordingly.

And relaunch kinect? Its bundled with every Xbox. That is 100% market penetration. There is no longer any urgency to appeal to the kinect crowd because everybody will have one.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

this actaully isn't even news sadly. Just a bunch of over-reactions on forums yesterday. It's actually typical. I'm about finished with the behavior in forums.

Microsoft publicly stated this was for the console and games would be at E3.

Which is completely and utterly irrelevant when you know beforehand that your big revelation audience consists of 99% hardcore gamers..

So much fail, so much (failed) damagage control. For something that was completely predictable.

I said it after the PS4 reveal, the 8G announcement was a MAJOR shock to MS and it clearly showed in the presentation. MS was absolutely sure that Sony would not be able to counter the entertainment software built into their new box (takeing upto 3G of ram). People didn't understand it then, when PS4 went from 4G (which would have left barely 12G for games) to 8G. I hope at least some of those people now start to see the effect it had on MS.

What a great way to introduce your new console..... say everything people do NOT want to hear.
This from a guy in the MS marketing department.
Boy this damage control gets weirder by the hour..

it's not damage control, major nelson said already days ago that e3 will be about games and not this reveal. this reveal was good for the mainstream media. today in radio they said "2:1 for microsoft against sony" because they showed already the console and all the media stuff. in germany's biggest newspaper, they write "both have the same power, as example 8gb ram" or something like that

yes, that's how mainstream media works. e3 is more for the gaming sites.

i'm not saying that sony or nintendo have no advantage with all their studios but it will be really not as bad with their games library as people try to let it look. at least not if you are interested in the combination of console and kinect. if not, there will be maybe too much kinect usage in some games but that is another problem and doesn't reduce the amount of games.

You know that's never going to happen...

It's always nice to have a good first impression but i don't think they will change my mind, regardless of E3. This is beyond madness right now

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

'When the people are being beaten with a stick, they are not much happier if it is called the people's stick'- Mikhail Bakunin

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

The amount of games won't safe the "rumors" (practically almost confirmed) about having the system be online at least once every 24 hours or fees for used games.

The damage is already done, I can't see how MS can come out of this. Prove me wrong MS, prove me wrong.
