If MS at E3 shows a fair balance of retail, XBLA, and kinect, I seriously hope people like you won't write the whole damn thing off because it had one kinect title that didn't appeal to you.

You better view it with a objective mind, and do a ratio crunch (retail/digital/kinect). If Kinect specific games get majority attention, then I concede. If not, then I expect you to act accordingly.

And relaunch kinect? Its bundled with every Xbox. That is 100% market penetration. There is no longer any urgency to appeal to the kinect crowd because everybody will have one.

Didn't you see where I said MS better have a 10/10 E3 because of this recent showing to change the core gamer perception of them? They are going to need to bring their A game.

Ok. It would just be very upsetting to see people write off Rare, Blacktusk, Lionhead, Turn10........all because MS announced Dance Central 3.

In your anxiousness to see me say someting ignorant as to write off all of MS offerings you're not taking into account that Kinect is half the reason gamers write off their E3's. Show the core titles and they'll be fine. Its half the reason I dont complain about Sony whom are at about an A to a B level in game reveals and development at E3. If they lose their A rating at E3 is solely because of the move.

What a great way to introduce your new console..... say everything people do NOT want to hear.
This from a guy in the MS marketing department.
Boy this damage control gets weirder by the hour..

This.   Lolololol.  Lets start promoting our system with the shit that noone likes.

And to think all this could have been avoided if MS planned this event like 2 days before E3 instead of 2 weeks, and publically said before hand: We will get the things out of the way for you gamers and bring it at E3".

Or it could have been avoided if Microsoft talked about games when introducing their new gaming console.  Or if they told us what a few of those exclusive games were.  Or if they spent as much time showing off gaming related features as they did on fantasy football.

Well again with kinect now having 100% market penetration, there is less need to force kinect games onto us....because they were forced on us in the first place to buy a non-mandatory accessory. Think about that.

Sony could also spend time on their own eyetoy 2.0 and Move. Vita also would eat up time as most gamers just want a PS3/PS4 focus. Usually Sony shows at least one casual title of their own. Either way, this might just be a close E3.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Sony put more time into move development, but they would work people too hard. Their tech is too accurate and actually demands you to move your body. Anyone who has played the fight game and sports champions know this. Its not simple wii waggle but full coordinated movement. They should bundle the Move with P90X. They use it on their core games because its the most accurate peripheral. Its fun with Killzone and more accurate than even COD on the Wii.

Funny enough no Move specific game ever got above 70 on metacritic aside from Sports Champions, Eyepet, and Sorcerery. This is another discussion, but felt I had to put that out there with you championing the tech and all.

But they could have announced more games at the conference but without gameplay, thus still surprising us at e3
But no they choose to start it off with tv this and call of duty that, they just stepped on my interest in the console to the point of I don't give a shit anymore

Yeah, thats a problem but I've used it and its the most accurate peripheral I've usedin the 7th gen. I had Kinect, played my friends move and my friends wii with Wii motion plus. The problem is Sony nailed the tech and didn't take the game development as seriously. They thought too much about its use in core games and perhaps that wasnt the best thing. Sometimes that tech is better for simpler more light hearted games on a wider level, but it was awesome for KZ3.

reveal your console with all the information people don't want to hear. that's one way to do it..
