I still think everything about this is interpreted in an extreme way that is not intended. They are elminating a lot of issues with their ideas but people keep misunderstanding them.

I also love how the whole internet is like "they didn't show games! What's with the games? This console is shit!"
Uhm, it is a console!? Games are a no-brainer. They showed what will be new and extra. There will be every multiplat for sure and lots of exclusives. If Microsoft just showed new games, everybody would be like "they only showed games! What's with new and innovative stuff? This console is shit!"
And if Microsoft came up with actual innovative games, everybody would be like "it's so casual and shit!"

lol

Haha agreed people r never satisfied. Sony had to endure doom with PS3/Vita and Nintendo with 3DS/WiiU, looks like its Microsofts turn.

I care not about them not having a healthy supply of games shown. I understand that that was not the focus of this reveal. It is the Console itself I take issue with, and most have the same issue. It is not that people are not understanding them, its really their PR keeps "double talking" around issues and they are giving totally different answers to questioning. Completely uncoordinated.

I find it funny that Sony got blasted by MS for

A. Not ENOUGH games

and

B. No console shown

and in retrospect MS showed ZERO gameplay of anything and the console they did show............atrocious.

Greatness Awaits

PSN:Forevercloud (looking for Soul Sacrifice Partners!!!)

Assuming the worst of the worst for me is that their games would not be fun. I think I could find at least ONE game that is good on it though. Used game thing is stupid. Internet thing does not affect me but, really they are losing sales because of it. No BC sucks, Sony MIGHT do BC. Wii U is BC.

Those negatives you listed are way too much, regardless of how great its games might be. I will not be buying an Xbox One next gen. I have more than enough gaming anyway between Wii/360/PC/3DS, and retro. I'll probably get a PS4 in like 2016, when the price is (hopefully) a reasonable $250 or so.

If Microsoft take this path I will not be purchasing a XB1 and I will not be renewing my gold account.

It looks like I'll become a Playstation gamer unless they try to pull a stunt like this, in which case it will be back to Nintendo for me.

There's no internet where my console is.

Well, imo the X1 might appeal to a lot of the US with its media capabilities. But something tells me that if they don't do something different later on, they might lose a lot of the other markets in the rest of the world. That would be the worst case scenario i think.

I'm hoping they focus more on the gaming side in E3 and that they think twice about the once-per-day online shit.

Assume the worst? lol

Ya i think it will do well in NA but the rest of the world not so much.

People with 5,000 posts on this gaming forum alone complain about connecting the console to the internet once a day. Oh the irony.

All the points don't bother me at all. I bought my last used game back in 2001, I have internet and I have a 360. Sure backward compatibility would have been nice, but not a deal breaker for me.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
