Forums - Microsoft - Quantum Break will also be a TV show which will interact with the game

Wow, I haven't seen a more blatant attempt to try and hollywoodize gaming. And I have seen Heavy Rain.....

I LOVE ICELAND!

Well, I just said in another thread MS (and Nitendo/Sony) needs to do something unique to differentiate their offers from Android/Cloud gaming that'll become standard features on all smart TVs.

This would do that.

How appealing it will actually be to play is another matter altogether but at least MS is looking beyond 'more power' to sell Xbox One and that will be key as graphics/power have hit the point of diminishing returns.

Just because they could not pull it off does not mean its magically not their idea.....

Now I don't remember if I said that it was their idea or that they would improve upon that.

You said:

"The innovation does not come from using Live action, but that the Live action will influence the game."

But I was replying a user who didn't understand what was so innovative about using live action.

And I know it's not implied there, and I didn't mean it when I first write it, but that doesn't mean other games did it before. Just like the dynamic cover in Gears of war: they didn't invent it, but sure as hell they redesigned it and made it innovative again.

I dont know what that means...

So what you are saying that its your oppinion that Remedy will be able to revolutionize something even though there was nothing in the preseentation or in any info that followed that presents anything revolutionary... well then i agree that it maybe possible I guess?

Read carefully =P

And no, I haven't say they would revolutionize anything. I've said there's innovation in Quantum Break (Considering what they're aiming for)

Never saw that much of Alan Wake. Was it more of a standrard survival horror or was it supposed to be an interactive story?

Ugh the negativity......

So Heavy Rain gets props for being a new idea. But now we shit all over this one. Right.....ok. Guess its cause its on Xbox.

Welcome to the world of "Bash whatever's not on your favorite console". I'm not asking for rose-colored glasses but a bit of balance would be nice.

It is a psychologycal-action thriller with traces of horror and adventure.
