Forums - Microsoft - Xbox One controller still takes AA batteries!!

But, hum...I've never had an issue with this. I've only changed once my batteries with my 360, and that's when they chose not to keep recharging. ._.

and? no problem with that. there will be official battery-packs and 3rd-party-specs. is the sony-battery exchangeable?

Yes it is and cheap too but it will be very rare that your Dual shock 3 battery dies, mine still works and is from 2008, gives me right now about 8 hours of play and when new about 12-14 hours.

perhaps both is possible to give gamers the option?

Of course you can buy a battery pack but why don't include one? Is 2013 the console will cost between $400 to $500 and it should include a rechargeable battery pack.

No sound here. Does the video say that they will ship it with batteries?

Strange: looked for a replacement-battery for ds3 and only found 3rd-party-ones,

Its USB charged if you buy a separate rechargeable battery package.

GO TO 3:45 he says "it comes with 2 AA DISPOSABLE batteries."

And they have the cheek to say BC is backward thinking. Nearly everything these days has built in batteries or rechargeable for that matter
